LOVE JAPAN – Traditional Crafts Collaboration

shichigoro-shingo is participating in collaboration project “LOVE JAPAN” presented by NODE net.

This is the collaboration project that about 40 artist create artworks on the theme of “Japan”, and they are commercialized by workshop of Japanese traditional crafts.

shichigoro-shingo’s artwork “wa” is collaborating with AMANO Sikki (Lacquer ware).
The work is the lacquered letter box decorated with mother-of-pearl work.

I thought that a part of the illustration will become a print, but was drawn carefully by a craftsman.

This letter box will be exhibited in the AMUSE MUSEUM from Sat. February 26 through Sun. April 3, 2011, and It will be sold in the production to order.
