For some reason, artwork of mermaids is always so pretty. Even though all the original stories about them are about how they are really quite fond of drowning people, especially sailors who fall in love with them. But these futuristic mermaid skeletons, with their creepy vestigial limbs and mechanised bones, are a real throwback to the way mermaids used to be. Slightly creepy and very possibly homicidal.
